Domain Name Registration Fee

All Network Information Centers (NICs) currently charge $35.00 US to register your Domain Name for a period of one year. Major NICs are now permitting registration of a Domain Name for anywhere from one to ten years at a time. You will be contacted by e-mail two weeks before your Domain Name registration expires to enable you to renew your registration. Homepage will register your Domain Name with the appropriate NIC and your account will become active normally within a week. Homepage does not include the cost of Domain Name Registration in any of our Web site packages for two reasons:

• to avoid unnecessary additional costs for clients who already have a Domain Name registered and merely wish to transfer their site to our hosting service;

• to ensure that you, the client, maintain legal title to your Domain Name. It does not matter who hosts your Web site, you will always own your Domain Name and can transfer that name to any site on the WWW at any time.
