E-Commerce Software 
The e-commerce software deployed on all our storefronts is the online transaction software or “electronic shopping cart” required to display, process, track, authorize (if required) and deliver online orders. We have implemented numerous virtual storefronts of all sizes and capabilities for business organizations of differing sizes including individual entrepreneurs (e.g. CD sales), independent retail outlets (e.g. environmental products, imported goods) and retail chains (e.g. grocery). Our e-commerce software package is the latest most powerful virtual storefront system available today. Flexible and scalable this system is easily customized and configured to meet the simplest to the most demanding e-commerce requirements.

Products are easily located by several methods:

Product displays can be as simple as a single line text entry or as complex as a full web page presentation including graphics, animation, sound, charts, tables, pop-up windows, etc. The most common presentation includes a similar layout to the traditional paper catalogue or flyer including a product title, picture, short description, price, weight and product code.

Product attributes can be added in the form of pull down menus, check-off buttons or text entry to allow customers to easily select requested, styles, sizes, colours, etc. for any product. Different pricing schemes can be associated with any product attributes.

Editing of quantities and item lists. This is a very easy system for the customer to change and confirm order info, adjust quantities, add or delete items in their shopping cart.

Customer accounts can be created online by your clients to store shipping and billing information for repeat sales (financial data is not stored). Return clients can simply sign in with their passwords. Customer accounts can made to be required, optional or disabled entirely.

One or many shipping options can be offered to your clients including any of the following:

Automatic calculation of multiple taxation levels by Province/State, Country, etc. Specific tax rates are assigned to geographical location. For example, on a Canadian storefront, when someone orders from Ontario a 15% tax is added, from BC a 7% tax, from the US nothing, etc. Taxes can be turned on and off for any particular item. Taxes can be defined for storefronts residing anywhere in the world.

Confirmation e-mail and order info e-mail. A confirmation e-mail can be automatically sent immediately back to your client with all ordering info other than credit info. As well, the actual order itself is e-mailed directly to you. You still have to retrieve the credit card information through your secure server, but you can see and process your orders immediately simply by answering your e-mail.

Credit card verification. As well as supporting all the major on-line payment systems (e.g. Signio Payflow Pro (PaymentNet), Cardservice/LinkPoint payment, CyberSource, CyberCash, Authorize.net, Anacom, etc.) it will verify that the credit card number entered is valid for simple credit card transactions without the requirement of an online payment service. Most merchants will normally authorize payment manually until such time as this becomes too labourious.

Availability groups can be created and used to allow existing customers to get “first dibs” on new or rare products, to offer products as “wholesale only” to retailers at wholesale cost or to offer your best customers items that are scarce or hard to find.

Price groups can be created and used to offer the same products to all customers, but at different prices. Offering different prices to different customers could be used for:

Upsales. You can associate certain products or sales on products with other products and bring them to your client’s attention upon checkout. This is sort of the virtual equivalent to impulse items placed at the cash. For example, if a customer bought a pair of sheepskin gloves, he/she could be told about the newly available sheepskin hats that you have in stock, a client purchasing a leather briefcase could be told about the free leather daytimer you are offering with every purchase of leather products over $100.00, all customers could be made aware of that really hot item you are trying to promote, etc., etc.
